In short: On Time Publication reviews your manuscript against the reporting guideline that matches your study design β commonly CONSORT, PRISMA or STROBE β and flags missing or unclear items for you to complete. This is reporting and checklist review only. We do not claim statistical analysis or statistician sign-off. Guide prices on our pricing page are in GBP. This checklist review is quoted after free assessment (no separate approved from-price category). Journal APCs are paid by you to the publisher. We do not guarantee acceptance or indexing. Pair with medical manuscript editing, case report editing or developmental editing as needed.

Editors and reviewers use reporting guidelines to see whether essential methods details are present: randomisation description in trials, search strategy dates in reviews, confounder handling in observational work. Missing items cause delays, major revisions or desk friction even when the science is sound.
Our job is to help you see those gaps in your text and checklist forms β not to invent compliance. If an item cannot be completed because the study did not collect that information, we help you say so clearly rather than fabricating it.
We do: map manuscript sections to checklist items; query vague methods wording; suggest where an item belongs (main text vs supplement); help you fill journal checklist uploads from content that already exists; align abstract claims with reported methods via abstract editing when needed.
We do not: re-run statistics; choose primary outcomes retrospectively; pretend a trial was registered if it was not; or replace a biostatistician. If you need language and structure beyond checklists, use manuscript editing, manuscript restructuring or developmental editing.
Official homes for these statements are linked in Sources. Always prefer the version your target journal names in instructions for authors.
How-to guides such as publish a clinical trial and publish a systematic review explain the pathway. This service applies checklist discipline to the file you will submit. Indexing targets still need verification via indexing checks and shortlists via journal selection or Scopus publication support.
Checklist items often touch ethics approval, consent, trial registration and data availability. We flag absences and point to wording patterns on ethics approval & consent statements. Only you can confirm what was approved. Dishonest checklist answers are refused β see also choosing a publication consultant.
When reviewers cite missing CONSORT/PRISMA items, we help you locate each fix in the revised manuscript and reflect it in the response letter with reviewer response letter editing. Broader revision project management: major revisions response. Desk rejects for incomplete methods: desk rejection reasons.
You send the manuscript and name the guideline (or we propose one from the design). We produce an itemised note: met, partially met, missing, or not applicable β with locations in your file. Partially met items get specific questions (βregistration number appears in abstract but not methodsβ). Missing items that can be completed from existing study records are listed for you to draft; we then edit those additions for clarity. Items that cannot be completed honestly stay marked not applicable or limited, with wording that does not overclaim.
Teams sometimes ask us to βjust tick the PDF.β We will not tick boxes that the manuscript does not support. That stance protects you in peer review and matches the ethics line on choosing a publication consultant. If language barriers make methods hard to parse, schedule academic English editing or medical manuscript editing alongside the checklist pass.
CONSORT and PRISMA flow diagrams are frequent failure points. We check that numbers reconcile and captions match β detailed figure work via figure & table editing and layout via formatting & referencing.

We map your manuscript against an appropriate reporting guideline (for example CONSORT, PRISMA or STROBE) and flag missing or unclear items so you can complete them honestly. It is editorial reporting support, not a new analysis.
No. This page covers reporting and checklist completeness only. We do not claim to re-analyse datasets or replace your statistician unless that service is separately confirmed on the live site.
Common EQUATOR Network guidelines such as CONSORT (trials), PRISMA (systematic reviews), STROBE (observational), and related extensions when you name the design. You remain responsible for choosing the correct guideline.

No. Systematic review editing addresses language and structure of the review manuscript. Checklist review specifically audits PRISMA (or similar) item coverage. They can be bundled.
Case reports often use CARE. We can review CARE-oriented completeness alongside case report editing. Confirm the guideline your target journal expects.
No. Journals increasingly expect reporting items, but peer review still decides. Checklists reduce avoidable omissions; they do not purchase acceptance.
We can help you complete author checklist forms from your manuscript content. You verify every answer before upload via your author account.
No. Medical editing improves clinical clarity; checklist review audits reporting items. Many clinical papers need both.
We flag missing ethics/consent reporting items and point you to accurate wording patterns β see our ethics statements guide β but only you can confirm what approvals actually exist.
Yes. Reviewers often cite missing CONSORT/PRISMA items. Pair with reviewer response letter editing when you must show where each item was addressed.
