In short: On Time Publication helps researchers in Oman take a finished study to a suitable journal, entirely online. We edit the English, verify each candidate journal in the official Scopus and Web of Science records, give you 3 shortlisted journals that meet your institution's written rule, and help with submission and reviewer comments. You stay the author and the journal makes the acceptance decision. We are based in the UK, with no office in Oman.

This page is written for:
We're an online service based in the UK, with no office in Oman or the Gulf and no university or ministry affiliation. All communication is by email or WhatsApp, in Arabic or English.
No payment can put an article "into Scopus". Scopus and Web of Science index journals, and each article is judged by the journal's own editors and reviewers. Our part is to make a sound manuscript stronger and steer it towards properly indexed journals that suit it.
A field-matched editor works on grammar, word choice, flow and consistency, so reviewers can focus on the science. See manuscript editing & proofreading.
Three titles matched to your topic, study design, required index and timeline, each confirmed in Scopus Sources and the Master Journal List while we build the list.
Author guidelines, references, file checks and a cover letter drafted with you; then step-by-step guidance in the portal, or submission on your written authorisation. See journal submission support.
You decide how to answer each reviewer; we polish your response letter and cross-check it against the revised file.
Several bodies were renamed or merged in January 2026, so older regulations and forms may use names that have changed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summary of the Royal Decrees of 12 January 2026 sets out the changes:
Some university pages still link to the former ministry's research portal. If a form or grant agreement mentions MoHERI or OAAAQA, ask your research office which body handles it now.
Journal requirements come from somewhere else. Whether you need Scopus, a Web of Science collection or a minimum quartile is usually stated in your university's, college's or hospital's own promotion, contract or postgraduate rules, and those rules are revised. Send us the latest written version from your department or deanship; each shortlisted journal is checked against that wording on the day we prepare the list. We never guess a rule for you.
Clinical journals ask authors to name the approving committee, give the approval reference and state how consent was obtained. In Oman, which route applies depends on the study site.
For studies spanning SQU and Ministry sites, ask your research office whether both approvals are needed. That decision, and the approvals themselves, sit with you and your institution, not with us. What we do is make the ethics and consent wording match journal expectations and check the reporting guideline (CARE, CONSORT, STROBE or PRISMA, depending on design). More help: editing for medical manuscripts, plus guides to ethics and consent statements, publishing a case report, systematic reviews and clinical trial reporting.
Planning to submit to a journal published in Oman? Read its current author instructions first. The Oman Medical Journal, part of the Oman Medical Specialty Board, carried a notice on 20 October 2026 saying it is not taking new case reports until further notice. Indexing differs from journal to journal, so check each Omani or Gulf title on its own; see checking PubMed and MEDLINE status.
This is not medical advice. We do not alter data or results; clinical content, approvals and consent remain the authors' responsibility.
A thesis shows examiners everything you did; an article makes one argument in a few thousand words. That usually means cutting most of the literature review, keeping one central question and rebuilding the discussion. You make the choices and rewrite; we comment on structure, then edit for language, length and house style. If your programme restricts publishing before examination, ask your supervisor first. See thesis editing and from thesis to journal article.
A hijacked journal borrows a real indexed journal's name and ISSN for a cloned website, takes the fee, issues an official-looking acceptance, and the paper never reaches any index. Watch for acceptance before review, indexing "within a week", a publication date fixed in advance and payment to a personal account. Open the journal site from its Scopus or Master Journal List record rather than an emailed link, and search the Hijacked Journal Checker before you pay. Further checks: our guide to predatory journals, how to verify Scopus and Web of Science indexing and the Think. Check. Submit. checklist.
Use the form below or WhatsApp. A title and abstract are enough to start; the full manuscript, required index and deadline let us assess it properly.
Scope and turnaround are confirmed in writing, with a custom quote based on word count, field and deadline. APCs are not included.
Editing, journal verification and your 3-journal shortlist, then submission and peer-review help when you get there.
Useful to attach: your institution's written publication rule, journals you already like and, for clinical studies, the ethics approval reference. See how our process works and pricing.
Authorship stays with you. We don't sell author slots, add names to your paper or try to influence reviewers or citations. Under ICMJE guidance, editing help is acknowledged rather than credited as authorship; if you thank us, name the On Time Publication Editorial Team. Since only the journal decides acceptance, we plan around your deadline with realistic timings instead of predicting outcomes.
Independence: On Time Publication is not affiliated with Elsevier/Scopus, Clarivate/Web of Science or any journal, with COPE or the ICMJE, or with any Omani ministry, authority, university, board or hospital mentioned here. We link to their sites so you can check details at source.
Researchers in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain can use our Saudi Arabia and GCC page. Separate country pages cover Dubai and the UAE, Doha and Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.
Yes, online. We edit your manuscript, verify journals in Scopus or Web of Science against your institution's rule and shortlist 3 of them, then help with submission and peer review, wherever you are in Oman.
No. We are based in the UK and work online only, with no office in Oman or elsewhere in the Gulf and no link to any university or ministry. We work by email and WhatsApp.
No. Royal Decree 14/2026 of 12 January 2026 merged it with the Ministry of Education into a single Ministry of Education, and Royal Decree 11/2026 moved research and innovation functions to the new Research and Innovation Authority.
Nobody can say so honestly. Acceptance is the decision of the journal's editors and reviewers; we make the manuscript stronger and choose properly indexed journals that fit it.
Whatever your institution's current written rules say. They may require Scopus, SCIE or SSCI, or a minimum quartile. Get the latest version from the relevant office and share it before shortlisting.
That depends on the study site. SQU requires approval from its Medical Research Ethics Committee before research with human participants or tissue begins, and studies in Ministry of Health institutions go through the Ministry's proposal approval service. Your research office confirms the route; we do not obtain approvals.
On 20 October 2026 its website said new case reports were not being accepted until further notice. Check again before deciding; we can shortlist other suitable, verified journals.
Each project gets a custom quote based on word count, field and deadline, following a free assessment. Journal article processing charges are separate and paid to the journal.
Through Stripe, PayPal or bank transfer. USD, GBP, SAR, AED, JOD and other currencies are accepted, with an itemised invoice on request.
No. You do the research and the writing; we edit, format and help you submit your own work, following ICMJE authorship guidance.
